As I was scouting Facebook for a model a few years back, a call for a photoshoot called Pin ups & planes caught my eye. Somebody had arranged for a small airport to be available, along with some really cool old airplanes, for a great fashion photoshoot. I didn’t hesitate, signed up and assembled a team.
The organizer of the photoshoot asked us to send in our best photo for a calendar they wanted to make. At first this sounded like a good idea, my picture on a calendar for all to see. But as the shoot day went on, the idea got less and less appealing.
My team and I had our fashion shoot with a theme that was, maybe not so much pin up related, but more classy. Other teams that were there interpreted the shoot in a whole other way, resulting in almost adult photography, if you know what I mean.
We ended up not submitting any of our photos for the calendar, but this photoshoot and the end result of our team is still my all time favourite!
